Gosh I love winter
Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Missed me? I didn't! Trust. I hath returned from my 1-month break from publishing! Today I come fetching my submission for @nm_studios's "Legend's Competition". I am so very overly excited for how it will pan out.
The theme I chose is winter. I create a short introduction named "Fall" because it kinda sounds more autumny than wintery, yk? I think what really sets the wintery, cold-ish feeling is the contrast between all the sections. The piece gradually picks up from a slow ballad to a very dramatic moonlight sonata typa thing.
Winter is my favorite season bc it's as cold as my heart. Who can resist chilling at the fireplace, sat in the fetal position, chugging a hot cappuccino, and eating all the sweets in the pantry?! Certainly, not me. I believe the "Thunders" section does a great job at shifting the mood and preparing us for the winter to come in gracefully. But man, when "Winter" comes in... that's my favorite part. I can't believe how I managed to show so much motion with just notes. I wrote this over the span of a couple months, very sporadically. Usually thats my formula for creating "scores that will never see the light of day". This one defied that fate and has come to the surface!
Lastly, I'm gettin' very close to 300 followers and I have no clue about what ze special should be. I also have a very cool collab coming up soon, so you should keep an eye out for that. Don't you dare forget. Anyway, I hope my submission is good. I am matched against @aurathespirit and ngl I am anxious. Just a little bittle.
