I'm so excited to publish this piece for March's Monthly Challenge!!! It's a celestial orchestral turned heavy metal madness, and I think it's one of the most awesome things Bez and I have ever made. I hope you'd agree :)
I haven't been thinking about composing (or monthly challenges) for a while now, even while I was on my two-week spring break. But yesterday, I happened across the blog post announcing this challenge, saw that collabs were allowed, and was like, "Wouldn't it be awesome if we ran 1zakos back again?" So we worked our tails off for the last 24 hours, and, well, it's turned out better than I could've imagined!
This piece is titled "Entropy" after the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, which basically states that the entropy of the universe is always increasing. In other words, the universe gets more and more chaotic. This song is built to reflect it, as it gets more and more chaotic too!
I hope you guys enjoy! Make sure to read through the story I wrote on the gong part. Bez added his own funny commentary too :)
Bezakos: Hello! I wasn't able to contribute that much sonically, so I had to find another interesting way to add my personal touch!
This musical mastermind took the lead by himself, just like in our first collab, and goddamn did he pop off. This is the best thing I've heard on flat in awhile. Like seriously, top 5 favorite scores right now or higher. I don't have much to say, personally. I hope this wins so 1c3 can have flat power once again. His music is what this community needs right now!
That's all from me. Sorry that I've been gone for 3 months. I had literally nothing to publish. The special is technically done, but I can't convince myself that it's ready to be shared. I keep looking for mistakes to fix. I am planning on publishing a piano solo soon! I've showed it to some of you, and they all liked it (hopefully).
Stay tuned for my piano solo! It's called "Gotta Love Me Some Darkness". Hope you enjoy. BYE!!!
