NON-HQ Instruments!!
I hear a lot of people without premium who feel very uninspired, so I want everyone to show that you can make some awesome stuff with just the non-HQ instruments. (You'll notice this song is made with 0 HQ instruments) The deadline to submit is August 19th, 2023, and I will have the results out before september :) I'm so excited!! I challenge you all to go outside your comfort zone.

This song is very dear to me. I have had the concept of "Calypso Fish" in my head for months and months, but just a few days ago I really sat with it and decided I wanted to make a Calypso song.
At the same time, I had the idea for the No-HQ instruments challenge. So i decided to put them together, and Bam: I decided that Calypso Fish would be written with no HQ instruments. I worked very very hard on this song, and while its not perfect, its very near and dear to my heart.

Calypso music is super cool to me, it's a little bit like reggae and a little bit like bossa nova, but it's the most tropical music there is. I really was channeling my tropical vibes with this one : )
