This is the first movement of four that I wrote over the last few months. It was played live by Apple Hill String Quartet, which is an amazing group of players that you should listen to. The piece tells the story about a cat who finds a coracle and ventures out into a lake. I got the idea for it when I was rowing around in a boat, and I tried to capture the rocking feeling of floating in the water. In the second movement, which I will publish once soon once I finish editing, the boat starts to sink. Anyways, have y'all a great morning!
p.s. sorry about the recording not being aligned perfectly with the sheet music, I'll try to do that better in the next movements
