For the full experience: Visit the youtube video, left-click the video and select 'Loop'. That way, you can listen to it on repeat forever, as the piece was intended to be a loop. (and that's also why it's pretty short)

https://soundcloud.com/finesden/flat-blurred-perception It's been over 8 months since I posted my last piece, Crazy Memories, and despite the dozen potential WIPs I have lying around in my flat library, some having been in the works for almost three years (cough cough Bold (probably my next piece)), the idea for this piece just came out of nowhere this week when I was playing on the piano on Sunday. For some reason, I decided to start working on it in Flat (which is strange since I usually only start writing it on Flat after working on it for a few weeks on piano). And so, I started it on Tuesday and finished it on Thursday.
Yep, I made this piece in 3 days.
The idea that started it was the initial piano bass pattern, as well as the trap beat that starts up in the outro. The middle section came about when I was trying to implement a faster iteration of the melody, and the drum beat you hear is also an iteration of the final trap beat converted into 2/4 time instead of 6/8.
This piece feels like a sequel to A New Realm for some reason, even though it's not as orchestral. Maybe it's more like Glimpse of Wherever too.
Thanks to

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this piece! Remember to enable loop-video for the full experience! and as always, I hope to enjoy your pieces too!
