Hello, this song is dedicated to my dog, Chico. Chico is a poodle terrier mix, although he doesn't have the traditional poodle hair, just short straight hair. He is the friendliest and caring dog ever, if you cry, he'll be by you, if you're happy, he'll be playful.
Although pets do bring you happiness, it is only temporary. Like most things, they eventually have to go, not that we like them too. Chico is getting to the age where he is starting to slow down in life, he is 14, I've had him as a pet for almost my whole life, I grew up with this wonderful dog. But unfortunately, as much as I'd want too, I know he won't be able to stay forever. So I chose to write this song "To Say Goodbye" because although it is not time yet, the time will eventually come to say goodbye to him. To those who have lost a pet, or of something similar, I also dedicate this song to you.
In this song, I have dedicated the Violin to Chico, he has his slow beautiful melodies, along with his high energy and chaotic melodies. Towards the end, the violin begins to slowly slow down, saying goodbye to its fellow melody, the piano, which in this case is me, until they meet again, wherever that'll be. I chose to be the piano because at the beginning, the piano is counting time, while they have the violin going, again towards the end, the time is changed in a way, like how a pet can change us.
