Traveler

Hello Everybody!

This is my piece for the September Challenge, and I got really excited when I saw the theme was video games :)

Anyway, my piece is about the Travelers in No Man's Sky.

For those who may not know, No Man's Sky is a Proceedurally-Generated Open-World space exploration game, with a near infinite number of planets to explore. You have the opportunity to be whatever kind of person you wish: An Explorer, a Merchant, a Pirate, or just a simple traveler.

This piece is made to reflect the tone of the story; Depressing, but at the same time, a little bit hopeful. If there are any nerds here, I did use the Interstellar chord progression for this, because it simply has the perfect feeling I was going for.

The Piano here represents the travelers, binding the universe together. Just like they unite the cosmos, the piano holds together this piece. At the same time, every instrument is important, in its own right.

I highly recommend the game, phenomenal writing, amazing gameplay, absolutely beautiful scenery.
