So... I'm finally doing and *finishing* Flat's monthly competition. With the theme of video games, I thought I had a chance. That's when I came across
@aurathespirit, who wanted to collaborate with anyone who knew even the slightest hint of the Ori games. I always wanted to compose something along the lines of the Ori games, so this was a no-brainer invitation to an unexpected collaboration.
I'm going to leave the gushing of the score at the door to remind you all that *YES*, the old and new gen can work together when passion is at the forefront of the collab. Now give this a listen and like. Cranberry deserves it.

Well, hello! Cranberry here- and I don't have much to add. We took heavy inspiration from Escaping a Foul Presence, and the start from A Keepsake from the Past. Additionally, we had the bass drum rumbling a lot, to simulate the earth shaking, and we had a trill from both our main instruments at measure 131, to signify their eyes locking for a moment. It was honestly a blast working with Red, and I'm really excited to work with him in the future. Anywhoo... hope ya like the piece!
