🎮 Valencial Paradoxes || September Challenge ||

This was very difficult to come up with. I personified my character as a cello.
The score follows the story of a wasted future, on the brink of death. With monsters from an purgatory-like realm called the Void wiping out humanity, the Order of Infinity, the rulers of the future, send Valence, a highly talented 19 year old soldier, to the past to prevent the monsters from ever arriving and save the human race. Sent with powers to jump from any time period, Valence must find the answer to the Order's plea. In this, Valence uncovers secrets of the Void and the true nature of the Order of Infinity.
I chose to break the song into 3 different movements to represent different aspects of the characters and the plot. Rings (Mvt. 1) is an opening piece that reflects on the peace that was existent before the Void destroyed everything. Temporal Leap represents the race against the antagonists (The Void) across time itself, creating chaos in the plot, but the theme stays similar during all of this into Mvt. 3 (Rebellion) as Valence uncovers that the only reason that the Void had invaded was that the Order of Infinity had stolen from the Void in order to protect themselves and to insure their mortality (proven mortal by the Void Monsters that had rid of them). I wanted this to link into the Void and Time Series to explain the origins of The Hero and the Monsters of the Void.
