Lady Bug Lagoon (Hollow Knight) [September Challenge]
Just left of queens gardens
The game I chose to write my song around is 'Hollow Knight' by Team Cherry. In Hollow Knight you play as the hollow knight and explore magical and bug-filled world of Hollownest. the game is full of real and imaginary insects but one thing that they never had were lady bugs, so that's what my song is about.
The Story:
As the Hollow knight is exploring the the distant reaches of Queen's Gardens looking for the last remaining lost grubs he falls through the floor into a steamy grove filled with ferns and glowing bulbs. the first measures are him take caution having just entered a possibly hostile sub-biome: Lady Bug Lagoon.
As he is surrounded by the hospitable lady bugs he becomes more comfortable around and begins to explore their small village of fern huts.
I chose the piano to be the Hollow Knight a) because a lot of the music in the game is played on piano and b) the piano is never quite in place among the lady bugs and is always just a little cautious.
This is my submission for the September challenge but as of the release date I will not be submitting it right away. I feel that the song is not done, and I might come back tomorrow and find something that needs changing. Until I do submit it, enjoy early access to 'Lady Bug Lagoon (Hollow Night) [September Challenge]' :)
