Pfeilstorch - November Competition

Birds flock to the south
Yet we are left here waiting
And longing for wings

This is my submission for the November Monthy Competition. The name Pfeilstorch comes from the bird that got hit with an arrow on it's migration, helping solidify the existence of migration. My song is based around the theme of birds migrating as I feel that is fitting for this season. The song also is supposed to embody the feeling of longing for something you wish you had. It's also supposed to feel like flight. The piece has 3 sections. The V formation is very common to see where I live. The winds have an ascending and descending part, mimicking the shape of a V. No flock is a bird that migrates alone (Idk if they actually do that). I tried to compose a solo for that section. And a murmuration is when hundreds of birds flock in a cloud with syncronized movements. In that section, the windwoods move very chaotic yet the strings are very together. I hope you all enjoy!
