This is my submission for the December Flat Challenge: A Christmas Carol. Here's the story for those who are interested:
Before composing, I did some research on the novella this contest is centered on. The mood of this song is my attempt to reflect the simplified plot on Wikipedia. Hope I did my work right.
In order to emphasise the Christmas vibe of this composition, church and jingle bells are essential, but I don't have Premium. Luckily, the Flat Team isn't too harsh with us broke people, and my alternative for these is the tambourine, still sounds the same to me :').
After a few days of thinking, composing and removing a lot of stuff while crying whilst trying to fit the allocated time for this challenge, this score is completed at last. This is also my first published Waltz (somehow), switch of tempo and time signature, spam of articulations and ornaments, and songwriting without my keyboard. I feel as if my skills had developed once again, and composing this really made my holiday.
Thanks Flat for the challenge, and thanks for reading till the end. Wish you all a happy new year.
