Hey guys!
Here's my submission to the January Challenge, Saudade. I really only join challenges when they fit my style, and this one definitely did. (screw the 10 extra points for a bossa nova >:) Anyways, I wrote this on flat and exported it to musescore, but used Soundtrap to combine a few audio files (the flat piano, the musescore soft piano, and the musescore cello), to make the cool sound you hear here. I think it sounds quite nice, but be sure to tell me what you think in the comments! Constructive feedback is always welcome :D
Also, a few announcements. First, I got got to give a shoutout to 1_PianoGuy(
@the_embarcadero_sf) for playing, in real life, one of my favorite piano songs, Credere.
https://flat.io/score/64e1863df1494c81b20723a3-credere-live-recording-marcato. huge respect to you man :D
I'm always open for collabs, idk if you guys know that, but I really like when you guys ask to collab, especially you really good composers out there :)
Lastly, I think i'm gonna try re-introducing the rhubarb comp this year! Some of you may remember the absolute failure that last year's attempt was. (basically no one joined, and only 2 out of those actually submitted a score. And I forgot to judge them.) So look out for that sometime in the next week. :D
Anyways, I'll end the essay here, enjoy the piece, and don't forget to like ;D
that's all folks.
