*sits down, paint all over me*
You wont believe how hard it was to write this piece LOL! So, I began writing a piece for a game concept of mine known as Seconds to Midnight, but I felt like it was too unoriginal. So, with confirmation from
@infinitely_intuitive and
@legends_comp24 , I wrote a piece for my own movie. For 7 years now, I have been working on a story arc for a movie series, getting in depth with the characters, as far as creating lore and themes for the characters. This is the (shortened) theme of two of my favorite villains I deem as The Fiend and The Tyrant, capturing their malevolence and sadistic nature in every single crevice of this song. The 5/4 representing the strife and tension and the deep foreboding chords and percussion revealing the true sinister nature of these cinematic villains.
This score is also a big statement. For all of my lovely, young composers looking to make a name for yourself... You don't need things like Musescore to make you a better musician. That's just something fun to add. You can do everything you need here, on Flat, like I do. Sure, it's nice to have those rich strings, but why not try to MAKE it yourself? ^w^ Making music is about the love and effort you put into it... not how enhanced it sounds. Prettiness does make a score nice... but it's you that makes it MUSIC! Don't be discouraged by thinking that the only way to be a good musician is different softwares. Use what you have and blow people out of the water. Make your audience say.... "HOLY SHARKS! YOU DID THAT?"
All you need is here: A Sound, Idea, Yourself, and Passion.
I get it, I'm a bit corny, but sometimes it takes a message of inspiration to get people going. I love you all dearly and all I ever hope to do with all of my scores is not to get famous. That's never my goal.. but to inspire you to create something truly remarkable ^w^ -Wren
Steak asked if I could advertise their comp.
