How to Train Your Strings | Legends Comp RII

Legends comp submission at the day of the deadline 🥲 I had super bad block but I got that beginning melody in my head a couple days ago and it let my creativity flow!
If you couldn't tell the movie I chose was How to Train Your Dragon. It's my favorite movie and THE MUSICCCCC! Obviously what I wrote does not do the og soundtrack justice but I think it could fit in. (I used the leitmotif when it switches to 100 bpm and the keychange into D major)
For the bonus points: I'm not in the competition to win first place necessarily but to grow as a composer. I think as long as I improve and make music I like that would be a win for me anyway.
I was actually not planning on joining because I was dissapointed that the last one got discontinued, but one day I just decided to go for it because it wouldn't hurt to join. I'm really glad I ended up deciding to join in the end because I've made some music I like so far and can't wait to make more! The comp promts were both pretty cool :D
