Overture to the Ocean

Composed in April of 2024
This is one of my proudest creations. The main theme is an idea I came up with when I first joined flat 2 and a half years ago. When rediscovered it, I decided to make a whole song out of it. This piece depicts the unpredictable nature of Earth's oceans; from calm and tranquil waves, to violent storms, to perfectly dark night skies that can't be seen anywhere else on the planet.
The new playback definitely changed the way this piece sounded and messed up the balance a little bit. I thought about linking the original audio but I didn't feel like worrying about sync. Out of my 100 pieces, this is probably the piece I spent the most time on, as well as the one I've gone back and listened to the most.
