Hello. It has been a while since I've published a major project, but here I am! I have worked on this for two days, and I am glad to share it.
The last time I made a String Quartet was July 2023, and it was meant to display a classical feel to the piece and have a feeling of whatever you are feeling in the moment. This time, however, I realized that I haven't really seen people put classical styled ensembles and put it with one of my favorite types of genres: Cinematic. So, I used a common classical ensemble (string quartet), looked at where Charmolipi went wrong, and transformed this quartet series into a Cinematic score.
In this score, this is supposed to be my representation of an emotional tranquility, and later in the score, it goes dark to represent old memories from the past, but soon disappearing from one's mind. The first scene that came to mind in the beginning is a lake of water in the dark of night with colors from the sky twisting and flying effortlessly across the lake as a beautiful woman is sitting in the middle of it.
My goal was to make this sound happier (or peaceful), so let me know if I accomplished a calm sound and a Cinematic feel!
(For better listening of chords and the melody, listen to the Flat Audio, but for a better quality sound in the strings, listen to the audio file labeled 'String Quartet').
