Messy Mind

My shot at the April challenge.

I tried to capture what it is like to have different mental disorders/ illness's. Ended up being a bit of a mess but then isn't that what we experience with these things... I think I do at least.

Girl - Piano
Anxiety - Violin
ADHD - Saxophone
Depression - Acoustic Guitar
Anger - Bassoon

Full story:
Girl is just trying to live life with mental illness. In bars 1-4 Depression is quite quiet and in the background than ADHD jumps in always trying to one up and like be big and important in bar 2 and then also bar 4. As the girl keeps trying to live life she gets interrupted by her hyperfixations which than cause anxiety as she is trying to mask her true self thinking it is wrong. As she gets stressed it than issues depression bar 14. This calms down but then in bar 18 - 22 anxiety and ADHD and up making this repetitive noise which the girl has in her head than causing her to shut down after these bars she crashes and anger joins in. Bar 25 anger depression and girl are having a moment. Again girl calms down and the ADHD ear worm comes in. The girl just want peace in her mind... she doesnt get it. After a few songs just being in the background anger comes back again.. basically girl slamming her head trying to make the noise stop. They dont she has had enough and then song ends because I didn't have a proper story line just trying to show a glimpse in the mind.


I recognise that Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up, the toothless dancing meme and Giorno's theme are not my own creation. I have used them in this as it fully illustrates the ADHD earworm. Sorry if this against the rules but this is the best way I could get it across.
