Falling Down - Megaman Zero 4
The Best Series Finale in the entire Megaman Franchise, change my mind
Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, composer's block lol.
However, with my original sections (half of the cover) I do believe I was cooking! :D
For me, this final battle was easily one of the best I've seen in any video game, even if the graphics aren't much to look at.
The Gameplay: All of your hack-and-slash tactics of hitting the enemy before they can hit you goes out the window, bc you can only damage Dr. Weil when he gives you an opening - which is attacking you. It's very high-risk, high-reward.

The Stakes: If you lose, everyone you care about dies. period. The immortal madman you are fighting is trying to ram an orbital space cannon into the only habitable place left on the planet. You're going down anyway - it's too late to get off. Which means you have to take him down with you. The blast from Weil's core being destroyed will take out the station and save everyone.
The Emotion: Zero knows this isn't a battle he's going to walk away from, Ciel is trying desperately to transfer/teleport him back, and Weil is taunting him - After all, Weil is a human, and to kill a human being would be to go Maverick - the very people Zero had been fighting for decades. then Zero hits us with this straight fire: "I could care less about justice, and I don't remember EVER calling myself a hero. I have always only fought for the people I care about. I won't hesitate. If an enemy steps in my way, I will destroy it. Ciel, have faith in me!" before starting the fight. Man, I know I'm nerding out right now but it's just SO DARN GOOD!
Also, you have to beat the fight in two minutes, or you lose. Automatically. You have to restart. On my last playthrough I finished with 5 seconds left on the timer. It's terrifying and awesome at the same time.
