A classic late night publish from evalv lol
Hey all! I am working on getting back into publishing more frequently. I know how many times I've said that before, but I really am. This score represents the culmination of years of practice with both storytelling and music-making. I have poured my heart and soul into this for the past year of my life and though this score is fairly recent I'm incredibly proud to call it my own. Please feel free to leave constructive criticism and let me know if you enjoy it! (like if you like or something)
Score Info: This is the final boss theme for the Winsora campaign, my long-running D&D campaign that ended tonight. I have been working on this score for around 2 months now.
There are two versions of this song; one of them has some "minor differences" near the ending of the piece. Both versions are linked as MP3s in this score, but the syncing will be atrocious and the mastering is not perfect either, so I just decided to use flat's payback as the default. The one labeled "Cosmic Confluence OG" is the one with differences -- see if you can spot them!
Yes, it's really 8 minutes long. It's a final boss theme; it's designed to be interesting to listen to, but still versatile enough that you can loop it for as long as you need.
In-game context: The final boss in question was an ancient god-like alien. This score is meant to represent the power, might, and fury of the cosmos, plus the triumph of a small group of heroes. The heroes faced two different endings and ultimately chose their own path. "Confluence" means "an act or process of merging;" this score represents the merging of two worlds and the reuniting of earth and sky.
