This piece describes the event of a stormy winter night where fierce winds violently whip around snow. A boy who hadn't made the smartest decisions meets his karma as he walks outside in this harsh environment while going through a maze, thinking about what he has done. He enters the maze while shivering in warm clothes and faces the harsh truth of reality: screams from ghosts, walking skeletons chasing him, and crows cawing as he transverses the maze; all are warnings of the future if he continues his ways. The scariest of them all, a figure in a black cloak, expressionless, says words of fate: "Time is running out." He finally calls out to the depths of harsh snow and surroundings: "I'm sorry! I am ready to change my ways!" He finds his way out of the maze in shivery, painful breaths of despair in front of his parent's house, scared for the future but with a sense of tranquil understanding. It is now up to him to choose his life path: closure or displeasure, in the emotional rollercoaster of life's gall. This piece is a special occasion when I will use dynamics and petal markings, but I am no stranger to them. I used them in the past, but I stopped because I didn't like to be controlling. I refuse to force people to use dynamics, slurring, or petal makings, so I format my piece in no such things. I hope you all enjoyed this composition and consider this a treat because I will write very few songs with dynamics and petal makings (none with slurs except for special occasions, also with the others). Have a happy and blessed day and night, everyone, and make good choices!
