Good afternoon Flat, and welcome to the second ever Flat Earth Awards.
The Flat Team does a great job honoring composers on this platform. But I think believe that Flat users deserve a way to affirm just how truly unique and talented the people on this platform are. That's why I, in conjuction with with ten other distinguished users, am proud to present the Flat Earth Awards 2024!
For this awards ceremony, we've created a ton of awards for you to nominate things for. Just fill out the form linked at the top of this score- you don't even need a google account to do so. However, because of this, we have to use an honor system to make sure no one fills out two or more forms. I trust everyone to keep this competition fair. Please help us out and only submit one form! :D (SPECIAL NOTE FOR THIS YEAR: self nominations are allowed, however I ask that people use them sparingly. Don't self nominate for everything, and be honest about whether you or your score fit a category or not.)
This is just the first part of the awards, too! On the 21st, we'll release a follow-up form allowing everyone to vote for the top nominees in each category. We'll then publish a score in early January detailing who won what!
So go fill out that form, chat in the comments, and watch as the largest awards ceremony ever on Flat unfolds!
