Well, that was fast. Sort of. Maybe. Probably not.
The rhythm sounds kinda generic but that’s probably because I tried to keep it simpler than some of my other pieces, such as “The Discernment”.
I see this song depicting someone looking back at something once glorious, but now in ruins by unusual circumstances. This certain something cannot be repaired, and this someone decides to take one last glance at what was once the greatest something in history. After this glance, this somebody must only look forward. Maybe it was the most beautiful thing anyone had ever set their eyes on, but this person, and all others who have seen this something, must only focus on the things they can control.
The ending of this song fits the feeling of slowly walking away from the previous ways of life, and into a new stage, a new era, a new way of thinking. That’s just my vision, and I’ve put more pain on my keyboard than was necessary with that depiction thing.
Feel what you want to feel, and believe what you want to believe. I honestly do not care.
