Okay, so I didn't see the July Challenge page for like a week, because I was doing some personal stuff, so I was kinda surprised when I saw like 8 songs on there already, and I immediately got to work. So the bird that I picked was the European Storm Petrel, I decided to pick this bird because I'm like 40% Norwegian and I've got nationalism. But this bird's name has an interesting origin actually, it's called the Storm Petrel because many sailors would see this bird fly by and then a storm would usually come passing through. So I thought this would be an absolutely amazing idea for a song, (I guess it was) and this appeared the same day I saw it (I made this in about 5 hours, give or take a lil).
*Warning* Fiction story ahead, I know zero history or geography so go easy in the comments pls
Measures 1-12 It's a peaceful morning day in the town of Bjørgsør, the sun is shining, boats are out by the coast fishing, and there is not a care in the world.
Measures 13-44 On one of the fishing boats is a teenager named Bjørn, he is helping his father with the fishing that day and is looking at the sun rising on the horizon, drawing in his notepad. He gets a sudden burst of inspiration as he watches a masterpiece unfold onto the paper. Bjørn is proud of the artwork he made and goes to show his father, who is at the front of the boat.
Measures 45-57 When Bjørn is running to show his father what he made, he sees his father standing at the edge of the boat, looking up, and suddenly, he sees a little Storm Petrel. Soon after, many of the little birds followed the first. His father said only one thing, "Run."
Measures 58-67 Bjørn rushes to the boat's control room, frantically turning the boat around to face the dock. Suddenly he felt a cold, chilling sensation run down his spine. Bjørn quickly docked the boat, he and his father both running to get over the mountain that overlooked the town.
Just got an MS4 audio so PLEASE use that one, it sounds waaaaay better
