The Snowy Albatross, commonly known as the Wandering Albatross, is a seabird inhabiting the cold and solitary Southern Ocean. They have the largest wingspan of any species of bird on earth. Known for their lonely journeys across the sea, a Wandering Albatross can fly several million miles in its lifetime, mostly alone. Some are known to circumnavigate the Southern Ocean three times in one year, as they spend most of their lives in flight. This composition depicts their lonely migration across seemingly endless stretches of ocean.
