Here's a last-minute piece for this month's monthly challenge. This is a song about the migration of a family of tundra swans. Tundra swans breed in the Arctic tundra, around Alaska and Canada, and migrate south around October each year.
My lead instrument is the ocarina, which I chose because of its gentle, airy nature that feels fitting for a family of beautiful birds setting sail for the south. I transition over to a piano pseudo-solo in the latter-half of the song to represent warmer weather and growth of the cygnets.
As always, please enjoy! (And thank you so much for the 299 followers, y'all are the best!)
