̷S̷̷i̷̷l̷̷e̷̷n̷̷t̷ ̷W̷̷h̷̷i̷̷s̷̷p̷̷e̷̷r̷̷s̷

Helloo!

So today I present to you my submission for round 4 of the Legends Competition. The prompt was to write a piece symbolizing the fear of the unknown, and it could only be a minute long. I personally have a fear of the unknown, so I used those experiences as reference for how I wanted this piece to sound.

This one was hard for me, purely from the 1 minute limit. I spent waaay too long planning stuff out to make sure I wouldn't get carried away and go over (lol). Also I'm pretty sure this is one of my most complex pieces, despite the time limit. I also took inspiration from drumcorps-style front ensemble writing, instead of typical percussion ensemble writing. Basically it sounds similar to a DCI show.

For bonus points, I'd have to say my favorite Legends Comp piece is my submission for round 1: Seasons of Color. I don't necessarily think its the best piece out there (its certainly not my best), but I think its just a fun little goofy farmville sounding song, and also it shows my growth in the time I wrote that to now.
