Korobeiniki Remix (August Challenge)

The song I chose is Korobeiniki ('The Tetris Theme' for those not in the know) by Hirokazu Tanaka.

I chose this song because it is a prime example of the kind of music I want to be able to write (Some kind of Russian style on a synthesizer). I also was one of the first few song I learned on piano!

This song feels very open to covering or remixing because of it's iconic melody that can be recognized no matter what it's played on. Also you can play it in natural minor or harmonic minor with room for jazz improvisation! Anyway this song has changed me as a composer, and I hope you can say the same
