Black Canyon of the Gunnison

I'm so excited to publish this piece!!! Recently, I had the chance to play in my first full orchestra, which inspired me to write something with brass and woodwinds.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison is an epic national park in Colorado. It has breathtaking views of otherworldly black canyons and bears a striking resemblance to Mordor. Since this piece (to me) sounds like background music for a fantasy movie, what better national park to name it after than a place that looks like a fantasy movie itself?
