Hey everyone! Before I talk a little bit about this piece, I want to just say - THANK YOU ALL for the recent support! I'm getting back into publishing and I'm super grateful for all of the love you've been sending my way, especially on Corruption Waltz (Thanks for making it #10 this week!!). It's really encouraging and pushes me to keep writing music, which is what I love doing. Thank y'all!
So this is a new orchestral I wrote called The Thousand Year Curse. It's written about, as the title says, a thousand year curse that is said to wipe out any cursed civilization within a thousand years of its awakening. It's meant to represent the feeling and knowledge of impending doom, and the decision to fight despite knowing you will not survive. It is the legacy of a nation of warriors, and the tale of their fighting spirit and their honorable, determined nature. They are condemned to an inevitable end, yet they will not go down easy. I wrote it initially as just an orchestra, but couldn't resist the urge to make it a rock epic. I added guitars and drums, and threw in some (in my professional opinion) killer guitar shreds. I used flat's audio for the synths and for the lead guitar, but combined it with MS4 audio for the rest of the parts. I think Flat does rock and metal music better, but MS4's orchestra is by far superior.
I don't currently have a publish planned for next week, but I'm working on a piece that's currently titled "CHAOS KING." We'll see when that gets uploaded.
Thank y'all again for all the support! Remember,
