Rhubarb here, with an actual piece for the first time in a while. I started this a bit ago, with the intention of creating a piece in the style of Hans Zimmer, one of my favorite inspirations for my music. It mostly ended up being my normal style, but there's for sure some clear hints. I also copied the general structure that a few of his pieces follow.
A few days ago, I realized that this would fit perfectly for the August challenge, so I changed a few things to add some of the classic motifs from the Interstellar theme. What I didn't read until today was the criteria for the challenge lol. "MUST be created in Flat." "We will check your song's history." "1-3 minutes long." Sooo I kinda scrapped that part mainly cause I didn't want to take a whole minute of this out and partially because I didn't want to risk getting kicked for writing this in musescore. Whatever. Still a decent piece. Maybe I'll make a John Williams score before the deadline lol. (I actually have one in the works).
Also I tried adding some mild sound effects using Audacity, tell me what you guys think!
Anyways, that's all I got! Don't forget to like and follow as this is probably one of the top 5-10 scores that me, as one of the top 5-10 composers ever, have written.
