This piece Avalanche! is a programmatic piece conveying the sounds of a great escape from an oncoming Avalanche! Feel the weight of the rhythm percussion with low brass horn bops as the high winds and melodic percussion sustain soaring melodies juxtaposed with forward moving rhythmic lines. This piece was written to break away from the quarter note, half note patterns of standard level 1 music, and provide playable fast "runs" that are great for young players to be given the opportunity to let their fingers fly on their instruments!
