So this piece is a different take on color theory, utilizing “light mixing” instead of single color section. Rather, there are sections where two specific colors are emphasized over the third to expand the normal red-blue-green into the cyan, magenta, and yellow range (: The Red instruments show Endurance, the Green instruments display Passion, and the Blue instruments display Tranquility. Hence, when the multiple color groups play together, it forms Passionate Peace Cyan, Strong Endurance Yellow, and Lasting Balance Magenta. All together, the harmony of the instruments represents the harmony of colors, giving the colors used a specific SOUND. The shifts in volume and shifts in major/minor chords gives this song a wide “spectrum” of possibilities, which was kinda limited so that it fits in the 1 minute limit (:
Also this months challenge fit one of the stories i came up with (Back When My Eyeball Got Isekai’d) a while back, so i decided on an anime-style rock for this challenge based off of it. You might hear some anime-intro-like elements to the song, but its intended to give this score a colorful, adventurous feeling. To add, the Japanese name of the song, “Iroiro na Bouken”, is actually better translated as “Various Adventures”. However, the first symbol in “Iroiro” (色) actually stands for color, so neat FYI. Hope you enjoy this!!!
PS: this is the anime WIP i put up a while back (for some reason the sound quality in the public window and in the editors window is different).
