Let Me Adore You: Full Version

Happy Valentine's Day! I have made my romantic piano solo into a full score for the occasion! It is one of my simpler scores, but I find it to be one of my favorites! I also included an instrumental and a secret alternate key in the MP3s

A Jazz pianist, suddenly struck by the sensation of love, poured their feelings into an improvised piece in an attempt to tell their crush how they feel. This time, they decided to gather their fellow bandmates to perform a fully improvised piece, and how the rest of the story goes from here is up to your interpretation

I would say more, but when I showed this to @heiinn, they spouted these beatiful words and conveyed what I wanted to express much better than I could have thought to say myself, so here's what they said!


"Much like jazz improvision, love unfolds without a clear script, leaving things open-ended a lot of the time.

Love also is a major form of outwards expression, much how jazz is all about getting into the feels and allowing your own feelings on the music dictate what goes where.

The onlooking of an audience also provides the pressure that love occasionally comes with.

In love, we often feel exposed, just as how most improvision is done by soloists.

Jazz requires taking risks, just as love does
And things may not always be pretty, there's bound to be dissonance along the way.

There's a give and take by the other musicians, just as there must be a give and take in a relationship.

By sharing our deepest, soulful emotions during improvision, as well as it coming at a time of vulnerability... it kind of creates a metaphoric situation where we have to harness an occasionally chaotic and stressful environment and harness it into something beautiful 💖" - @heiinn
