Muted Tones of Me (September Challenge)

For this piece, I chose three of the colors that are prominent in my fashion style and help me to express what I feel and who I am. The first color I used was sage green, which, for me, correlates to nature, and wearing it shows my appreciation for nature. Therefore, I wrote the corresponding section in the score to bring out the mysteriousness and imperfection in nature by using plenty of accidentals and trills. The second color is rose pink, which means softness and sensitivity for me, and wearing it shows my delicate demeanor. I displayed this in the second section by using a soft, light, somewhat floaty, piano melody, along with delicate flute runs. The third color is latte beige, which brings out the hard-working, studious, and earnest attitude in me. To show this in the piece, I composed a stately piano melody in the treble, with rich tones in the bass, along with more flute runs.
