House of the Dead

An enormous haunted manor sits on top of a hill. Shrouded in darkness, only visible as bolts of lightning illuminate it for a split second. As you approach the house, you feel what seems to be bugs crawling all over your body, but its too dark to see anything. The inside of the house is dimly lit by candles scattered around. The air is thick, damp, and unsettlingly still. Each step echoes loudly in the silence as you wander through the seemingly endless hallway, as if the house is bigger on the inside. Objects in the house seem to move or disappear while you aren't looking. The rooms as a whole seem to be shifting around and changing, causing you to lose track of where you are. You wander around for hours, hoping to find a way out, but you never do. The sun never rises. Soon enough, you become another lost soul left to haunt the house.
