Casper the Introverted Poltergeist

Rather than a traditional haunted house, I decided to write about a house that is haunted by a ghost who doesn't like visitors. It doesn't really want to harm you, it just wants to scare you away so you leave it alone. When its initial attempt doesn't work, the ghost gets more anxious and exasperated. Once the intruder finally gets scared off, the ghost goes back to calmly haunting its house.
