A Sequence of Appalling Occurrences - OCT CHALLENGE

BOOM! You're in a mysterious manor. How did you get here?! I dunno. As you explore, you start to realize that you aren't alone. Was that something in the corner of your eye? And wait, is there someone whispering? The lights start to flicker. What's going on? They continue, but faster and faster until it seems that they literally can't be on at all, but still switch states over and over until... you wake up to find yourself on the floor..... WITH A MONSTER CHASING YOU RUN!! You dash away to the nearest hallway, dark arms reaching from the sides of the walls and floors to grab you. You fall through a floorboard (or 2), sprint to the nearest room, and hide in the closet. The monster is slowly creeping up to you, this has got to be the end. It passes by THANK GO- you immediately run to the staircase to bring you to the exit, but it seems to be going on forever (you silly goose have you never been on stairs before this is normal =p) the moment you touch those doors, BOOM! (x2) you are back home again. Hooray! but the memory of the manor still haunts you to this day (darn you PTSD).
