Celestial Groove

Hey All!

SO to paint you all the picture... I am aware this is not super good lmao (especially the ending). So basically I've been extremely busy with college auditions/applications, family matters, and like a bunch of other personal stuff. Anyways all that to say I had like a day and a half (not accounting for time spent in school) to do this. About 3 hours ago (its currently 11:18 where I am as of now) I thought about saying I wasn't going to submit anything for this round. However out of respect for the competition and the person I am competing with this round @a_red_cat_lol (go check out their piece its amazing) I decided to at least submit something.

Anyways the two genres I was at least trying to go for were sorta a more modern take on classical and Latin, while also incorporating some other jazz genre techniques. My favorite Latin composer is Arturo Márquez.

ALSO I do plan on rewriting this piece with my original envision and also make it longer in the future, cus I really like it and unfortunately I don't feel this accurately captures what I was going for. (Obviously that will be separate from the competition). Fixed the playback.
