This is my submission for November's challenge: The Four Seasons. The beginning represents the sorrow of the happy feelings of spring ending, and the beginning of a new season. This new season, we know as summer. This is a deserted summer, however, there is not a drop of water to be found, the ground is cracked, and a cowboy rides on his horse, scouring the land in search of refuge, a village, or anything. The first, slower part represents the challenge it was for the cowboy to get through the desert. The driving part is representative of him gathering courage and making his way through the desert. The last, happy sounding part is him finding a town, where he can stock up on food and water, and likely find a happy life. We leave our main character while everything is okay, and he has found the refuge and help that he needed. I chose the french horn to show the seriousness of the problem. After, I used it to create a major second chord, which signifies peace and prosperity.
