There’s a place, a cold place. It lies beyond the rivers and mountains, and the trees and valleys. Within the cold place lies a house filled with all of the fun and joy you could imagine being in one place. It contains bustling elfs hard at work, Mrs. Claus helping with toy production, and last but certainly not least, ol’ saint nick himself getting ready for an eventful christmas eve. This house is warm with the buzz of pre-christmas excitement and Mrs. Claus’s baking. This is Santa’s workshop (if you couldn’t guess already) and now watch as Santa rushes to get presents out to the world in time.
This piece contains a few easter eggs such as in measures 1 and 68 you can hear the elves working to get presents done. also, in measure 44, you can catch a glimpse of silent night. This piece also contains an elf choir starting in measure 27 (I'm mainly mentioning this all for the people that will be judging my piece for the December challenge).
last but not least I just want to take a moment to say thank you so much for supporting me over the last year. I have had so much fun making music for you guys. 2024 has been the year that my account took off and I owe it all to you guys. so thank you. next year, my first piece will be a cello suite (no, not the really famous Bach one). I will also be publishing a lot more cello pieces in 2025, so get ready for that. If you get lucky, you might here me performing some of the pieces.
