Preparing the Sleigh

This is a piece based that takes place in the North Pole. It is for the December Challenge. It is inspired by Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson. It is written in the same key, and the main melody during the workshop sequences is an adaptation of the Sleigh Ride melody.

The Piano can be seen as time, and the day. It reflects everything happening.

The Saxophone is a representation of Santa Claus instructing the elves, talking to his wife, and narrating his day.
The Flute is a representation of Mrs. Claus, always there for her husband.
The Trumpet is the elves, echoing what Santa telling them, and performing the tasks.
The clarinet can be seen as the narrator, or maybe the children, telling the story, or celebrating the holiday.
