Let it Rain

This piece was composed 2 weeks ago, so it wont actually qualify for the competition, but it fits so well that i felt like i needed to submit it. It does pretty much exactly what the challenge asks for and i didnt want to do it again. its not really an idea that can be done more than once. I was already planning on releasing it today anyways, so its nice not to need to compose something new when i have a lot on my plate. Its also almost 5 minutes long so its DEFINETLY not gonna win.

In 2024, I both I lost and rediscovered my love for composing. I was betrayed by my lifelong best friend and lost another friend to cancer. Composing is the only thing that would keep my mind off of those things, but sometimes its okay to let it rain...

I thought it would be fun to do a kind of spotify wrapped thing for Flat. I composed 64 songs in 2024. That's a record i'll probably never break nor do i want to. Here's the total number of compositions i made by month:

Just one last thing. I typed ALL OF THIS out and accidentally clicked off and lost all of my progress. Flat really needs to make it so that doesn't happen so easily. Ok this is probably my longest description ever. Im finally done yapping now. Happy 2025!
