Eternal Solitude | 4th Place

This is my submission for the January 2025 Challenge. As you can probably tell by now, this was very rushed, especially at the end. To be honest, I just wanted to get it done. This is mostly an orchestral score, but I've incorporated some piano solos into it. For the bonus points, I tried to do all three: The lyrics; obviously, you can see. They don't really match the rhythm, but hey, at least they exist. For the recurring motif, I decided to use the "snippets" of piano solos throughout this piece to start off with a sorrowful and despairisious start, and end with a much more truimphant ending. For the passage of time, I used the tubular chimes. I hope you enjoy!
