Shattered Hourglass(January Challenge)

It's been a month since I've last posted. Sorry about that.

Anyways, 8th submission for a contest! This one's a lot more different than my previous submissions; it's about the fear and anxiety people feel when moving on with life. Nothing ever lasts, so don't take the time you have for granted.

The first half of the song starts with a section about a person being scared to move on and letting go of the things they cherish. It's followed by a special memory from that year. After that it goes to the chorus. The second half is about the same except with a key change and a different memory. As for symbolism, the drums represent the ticking of a clock.
