I wrote this piece with a script in mind; a story of discovering and overcoming obstacles, along with a fulfillment of what was once just a dream. It's a bit short, and I started it 2 days ago, so it isn't very polished. However I did put a bit of effort into it, so I'd say it's well done. This piece is written for an alto saxophone soloist and orchestra, something that I haven't tried before. I planned on making this a full concerto, but I'll have to save that for another time 😏. Also I have a very limited knowledge of saxophone technique, so if something isn't playable I'm sorry lol.
