Samuel Longo | Uneasy Anchor | Track 1: Tracks Of Tragedy

Good afternoon, everybody!
So it's been a little while for sure. Imma be honest, I've been working a LOT. Working on the job, working on schoolwork, and working on getting this album composed and on Flat. Originally, I was planning on writing all the music FIRST, and then posting it all at once in May when it way all finished.
BUT, first of all, I really, REALLY hate waiting. And second of all, the first song's already finished anyway...
So with that, here's the title track for my debut album "Uneasy Anchor", and it's called "Tracks Of Tragedy".
I worked on this song between January 3rd and February 6th, 2025. The track basically tells the story of the 2023 Ohio Train Derailment, when a Norfolk Southern crude oil train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, which caused the flammable contents of the train to spark and ignite, sending fire and toxic smoke into the air of the small city.
That's a very basic description of it all, and to be honest, the song isn't much more descriptive than that either. If you want to learn more about the Ohio derailment, look it up on Google or something. Don't rely on this goofy rock song. :)
Anyway, I'm really happy with how this thing turned out, and I also believe it's a great title track for Uneasy Anchor. Like I said, there's going to be 5 ORIGINAL SONGS on this album, all written by Yours Truly, so this is just the beginning! (Quite literally :))
