Waltz in D flat Major (March Challenge: Rabbit)

Hello everyone, this one took me longer than I expected but I finally finished it. It is supposed to be a somewhat peace waltz which I have not done before, my previous waltzes have been depressing beginning to end. I made this because I my favorite type of classical music is a waltz and because I thought it would suit my animal. Ive been on and off with this piece and it’s been about a week since I started on it, but finally it is done. It is the story of a rabbit, almost always prey to predators out in the wild, but regardless can the rabbit still enjoy their life filled with fear? That’s the story I wanted to convey for my spirit animal, as its traits include being calm, peaceful, elegance and intuition. I also included an area for its opposite the Chicken zodiac and I went for a Heroic melody somewhere in the 60s-70s, that melody was also the same key but minor which I hope reinforced that they are opposites. The piece ends with the forest claiming the rabbit as it succumbs to its age (Harp and Flute). I really enjoyed making this piece and hope that it is pleasing to your ears. ~ AMC
