Hi everyone!
Before I say anything about this piece, I want to sincerely thank everyone for this enormous follower milestone of 2000! I am so grateful to this community and the immense support everyone has shown me over the years. It's crazy to think, but I'm approaching a whole decade of time on Flat. I've been on this website since November of 2015, and started publishing around November of 2019. I've watched this website evolve into what it is today, seen people join and go, listened to thousands of incredible compositions, and was fortunate enough to have thousands listen to the crazy melodies I hear inside my head. I'm so grateful to everyone, thank you for inspiring me and giving me the platform to create music.
Special thanks to

Now about the piece! If you've read this far (congrats lol) then I hope you'll appreciate some of the context. In this piece I was inspired by Mendelssohn like always and his 4th string quartet in Em. The rhythm is pretty similar, but I wanted to take this piece into a new realm of color. I have been feeling increasingly rushed for time. I love my current student teaching position, but the days have absolutely flown by. This piece is so dynamic in tempo due to that, and it's the reason things seem to move "too fast". However, there are some nice moments of relaxation and beauty that I've been able to find, which I tried to capture in two sections of this piece. I hope you all enjoy, thank you for all the support on the other movements!
