Hey everyone, how is it going? Today, I decided to compose my fourth air (aria) for solo piano. I went with a peaceful song, and I really like being at peace with myself. It's a really amazing feeling, and it makes me think how loving an caring life can sometimes be (even though sometimes it's hard). It also makes me feel for my heavenly father's love and warmth, and it makes me happy thinking about it!
An air (aria) is a type of song. An aria is in many types of structures, such as operas, ballets, etc. It can also be a work not part of a bigger structure, and have an orchestral accompaniment or other things. When I compose airs, I think of ternary form (ABA form) or a free-form composition, like a fantasia and impromptu! While thinking about airs, I think of a story, and I imagine that story into this type of song more specifically, while others may provoke feelings, emotions, or interpretations.
My little story of this song is a peaceful love between a couple. Throughout the progression, my couple grows and matures, and is very grateful to have time together without worrying about the troubles of the world. I would love to hear what you all think, and I am always open for suggestions! Have a wonderful and blessed day, everyone, and have a peaceful day!
